To the people of Ikotos, Southern Sudan. With Love....

Hi... and welcome back to Matthews Farm, one year on from our wedding.

A year is a long time in agriculture and its no different out on Matthews Farm in Sudan. Crops are being planted, farmers are being trained, and lives are being saved all thanks to your generous donations of gifts.

As you can see from the photos and reports, our project is progressing nicely. However, funds always need to be raised, which is why we have been planning events and raising funds throughout the year to send out to the training centre in Ikotos.

It has been a bad year for charity giving, I know this from my professional capacity at Glasgow the Caring City, but thankfully, we have been able to raise some funds in a way, which has been rewarding for people. Through concerts, talks to groups, football matches and other events we have managed to raise enough cash to contribute to the next phase in the development of Matthews Farm
